Raising Cane’s Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken tenderloins
- 250 ml buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- neutral oil
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder

Steps
- Whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and seasonings.
- Add the chicken and marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Mix all coating ingredients in a shallow bowl.
- Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture.
- Dip each coated tender back into the marinade.
- Coat each tender again in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry the chicken tenders for 5–7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Mix all sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Chill the sauce until ready to serve.
- Serve with crispy fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and pickles for the ultimate copycat meal!
