Turn a TikTok recipe into a written recipe
Paste a TikTok link and get the ingredients and steps written out, so you are not scrubbing back through a 60-second clip with floury hands.
One free conversion a day, no signup. AI-written: check quantities before you cook.
How to copy the link
- Open the video in TikTok.
- Tap Share, then Copy link.
- Paste it above and tap "Get the recipe". Short links like vm.tiktok.com work too.
What works
- TikTok videos, including ones where the recipe is only spoken, not written in the caption.
- Public videos only.
- Photo posts and slideshows are not supported, only videos.
Got a YouTube link instead? It works here too, or use the YouTube to recipe converter.

Questions people ask
How do I copy a TikTok link?
In the TikTok app, tap Share on the video, then Copy link. Paste that link here.
What if the recipe is only spoken in the video?
That works. CookFast listens to what is said in the video as well as reading the caption, then writes the recipe out.
Do TikTok photo posts work?
No. Only TikTok videos can be converted, not photo posts or slideshows.
Is it free?
One conversion a day is free without an account. Sign in with Google to convert more. A video someone has already converted opens straight away and does not count.
Is the recipe accurate?
It is written by AI from the video, so check the quantities and steps before you cook. Recipes we are less sure about are labelled "Check before cooking".
Does the creator get credit?
Yes. Every recipe names the creator and links to their original video. We do not host or copy the video itself.
